This setting enables you to remove the item from the start menu. For this, go to start > run, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. You can create a dword value nofind, if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and modify the value to 1 which can remove turn off item from the start menu. However, if you want to remove the option, change the value to 0 or delete the value nofind. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff.
